Zero-shot learning (ZSL) is a concept in ML where a model is able to understand and perform tasks it has never been trained to do. Based on its pre-existing knowledge base, the model makes inferences about tasks or recognizes patterns it hasn't explicitly encountered during its training phase, establishing a connection between observed and non-observed data.
