Polygon has launched a new bridge for its zkEVM solution , offering users security, UX, and functionality, and a fast finality of transactions.

• The bridge is governed entirely by smart contracts on Ethereum and Polygon zkEVM.
• The bridge comes with UX improvements such as a progress bar, transaction history, and recent transaction panel with color-coded completion status, time estimates for pending transactions, and filtering capabilities.
• Users will not need to map tokens before bridging, and most popular assets are supported.
• Polygon zkEVM launched on March 27 as Mainnet Beta, with various dApps and infrastructure providers building on it.
