According to Jesse Myers, a fund manager and Bitcoin expert advisor, Bitcoin's market cap could increase 500 times over, bringing its price to $10 million per coin or more as it captures 25% of the world's wealth.
In a blog post, Myers argues that Bitcoin's increasing scarcity and ability to appreciate over time make it an ideal asset for storing value, fulfilling the role of "digital gold." He calculates that the global allocation into BTC is currently 0.05% of available wealth, or $400 billion, and predicts that more than 0.05% of the world's capital will eventually realize it wants to be in an asset like Bitcoin, leading to a potential price of $10 million per Bitcoin.
Myers' assessment is not unique, as others have also predicted sky-high Bitcoin price valuations in the coming decades, with some calling for the $1 million mark to be hit by the end of this year.
