Prerequisites
To follow along with the examples in this guide, you need a Linux machine with root access. You can use a virtual machine or your physical machine. I recommend not using your own machine since we will perform operations that may affect your system.
The examples have been tested on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, but they should work on other Linux distributions as well with some minor adjustments.
